Currently, Dr. Dumitru as a postdoctoral fellow researching neural stem cells and brain regeneration in the laboratory of Professor Jonas Frisén at the Karolinska Institute. During high school, Dr. Dumitru participated in several national and international chemistry Olympiads. His participation in these contests not only lead him...

Dr. Ina Simeonova

Dr. Ina Simeonova finished her PhD at the University of Heidelberg in 2016. During her academic career she focused first on basic mechanisms of neurogenesis and thereafter on the differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells into neural lines for transplantation into the damaged spinal cord of rodent animal models of spinal cord injury. Meanwhile she has left academia for good and is working as a Project Manager / IT Consultant in software development. Together with Dr. Beatrice Sandner and...
