Due to the positive feedback that we received – both from students and from their parents, since a couple of years we have been considering the option to expand, in order to give the possibility to more students to participate: this idea turned into a real plan!
We started to recruit organising teams for local competitions in three additional locations: Berlin, Frankfurt and Bonn – and we would love to further expand, step-by-step, in the next years.
This principle is inspired by the Biology-Olympiads: regional competitions will take place in several cities several weeks before the final competition. The first 10 to 15-placed students will be granted a spot and appropriate travel grants to participate to the final national competition, which will possibly rotate its location every year.
