Dr. Michaela Müller

Dr. Michaela Müller received her PhD in Neuroscience from Heidelberg University on the topic of Alzheimer ’s disease. She is now doing a Post Doc as an electrophysiologist, at the University Medical Center in Mainz, studying neurodegenerative diseases. Besides doing research she is teaching physiology to medical students during their preclinical training. Promoting neuroscience by interacting with young students and pupils is fun for her. As the national Outreach Manager for the DNO e.V., Dr. Michaela Müller is in contact with teachers, students, departments and other organizations. Her main tasks within DNO include the establishment of a solid outreach strategy, the coodination of outreach activities, the organization of student internships, the preparation of student certificates and recommandation letters, as well as the coordination of registrations.
