Dr. Beatrice Sandner

Dr. Beatrice Sander was a biologist in the laboratory of neuroregeneration at the Spinal Cord Injury at the Heidelberg University Hospital until 2017, where she did research on the regenerative capacity of adult neural stem cells after spinal cord injury. She is now working in clinical monitoring at the University of Heidelberg. Dr. Sander has been part of DNO e.V.  since it’s establishment in 2011 by Dr. Julianne McCall (former “German Brain Bee”).  Together with Dr. Ina Simeonova and few others, Dr. Sander co-founded DNO Heidelberg e.V., the first Verein of DNO. Since then and until the end of 2018, she has been leading the DNO-Heidelberg Team together co-Team Leader (Dr.) Nathalie Tisch. She is now and advisory member of the DNO board.
