DNO-Berlin Team Leader

Dr. Marta Orlando is a post doctoral scientist working at Charité University Hospital in Berlin. She performs electron microscopy experiments to investigate the shape and function and plastic changes of presynaptic terminals. She joined DNO in 2017, first as a Jury member. She was enthusiastic about the organisation and joined the Academic Team soon thereafter. Mandy Watson was a High School Science teacher and Administrator at the Berlin International School until Summer 2019. After 12 years at the Berlin International School, she took over the position of Vice Principal at the Berlin Metropolitan School. Having written her dissertation in neurophysiology in 1996, she has have maintained her passion for all things neuroscience ever since.
